The advantage of underlays
Underlays for floor coverings, for example under carpets, bring additional benefits to coverings. They increase the walking comfort of the floor covering, its flexibility and resistance to pressure. They significantly extend the life of the floor covering. They provide additional thermal insulation properties, they also function as a sound insulator. They compensate for any small irregularities in the substrate, so they are also suitable for laying on wood or paving. They are suitable for installation for underfloor heating as well as for wheelchair traffic.
Rugs are provided with underlays under the rugs. They have a special slip-resistant latex treatment ensuring that the carpet stays in place. With rugs equipped with this underlay, there is no risk of the covering slipping.
