A completely new apartment complex has been built in Vítkovice in the Krkonoše Mountains near Špindlerův Mlýn. In eight mountain huts, designed in a modern concept of traditional architecture (gable roofs, wooden cladding, etc.), there are apartments that are offered for rent or purchase. Their layout varies from 1+kk to 4+kk, with an area of approximately between 37 and 120 m2. All are fully equipped including a kitchen and all furniture, where design and functionality play an equally important role.

In the hands of the architects, the inspiration of the alpine resorts turned into a purely Czech concept of mountain apartment resorts, which Aldrov undoubtedly fulfills.

The interior of all apartments is designed very plainly, the used materials are wood, metal and glass, everything is in natural tones - brown, white, black and shades of grey. The emphasis on the quality of materials and design is evident here at every step. Rugs made of natural material are almost a logical continuation of everything already mentioned: they fit perfectly here with their simple pattern, contrasting softness of wool and natural colors.

Wool rugs are ideal for mountain environments - wool can bind and release moisture according to the surrounding environment, which has a positive effect on the climate in the rooms.

Wool rugs

Malta rugs from the Belgian supplier Creatuft with a distinctive Berber loop made of premium sheep's wool were chosen. Darker and lighter shades of gray - Dark Gray and Light Gray - complement the gray upholstery of sofas and beds, where rugs are most often laid. We made a total of 172 pieces of these rugs in 5 different sizes, from the smallest 100 x 100 cm to the largest 200 x 300 cm. All of them are equipped with reinforced corners with metal strips and a non-slip mat on the reverse side to keep them in place.

A specialty is the so-called "hidden" border, which is sewn so that the stitches are hidden under the felt border itself.
