Premises that are used for restaurant operations with a relatively high load and the frequency of movement of people, from time to time it is necessary to revitalize and change at least the most stressed elements. These undoubtedly include floors, which is why BOCA has been involved in the renovation of the Potrefená Husa restaurant on Národní třída, where we have also installed the original floors and other surfaces.

The changes concerned the entire interior, which needed to be adapted to current trends while maintaining the original concept, built primarily on good beer and food made from quality ingredients.

The main element in the whole space is a combination of wood and concrete.

The design of oak wood and concrete trowel alternates on the floor, both due to the required high load in the form of vinyl parts. The 600x600 mm squares with the Light Gray Concrete pattern are from the SimpLay collection of self-laying vinyl floors, which have a more robust construction and a special anti-slip backing. The advantage of this floor is not only high durability, but also, for example, faster installation or possibly easier replacement of a specific part.

Base preparation

The original base consisted of paving and older vinyl, so the preparations included disassembly of part of the roofing, grinding, penetration, repairing and leveling with self-leveling compound so that a base suitable for the installation of vinyl parts was created.

Cement coatings panels are used on the walls.

Another used material is a cement screed - on the walls, surfaces with oak veneer and a gray screed in a matte finish alternate along the entire length. We produced the panels in our premises, where they were cut to the required dimensions and a coating was applied to them in several layers, plus a final matt treatment.

Cleaning mats indoor and outdoor

Mats are necessary in these areas - without them, the service life of floors in the interior is rapidly shortened and the costs of daily maintenance logically increase. Both the exterior mat in front of the entrance and the larger interior mat have been installed here - each of them has a slightly different function and together they are able to catch the vast majority of dirt that would otherwise be inside.
