Restaurant Prague Playoffs 2019 in O2 Arena

Riders and horses from all over the world, who gathered at the O2 Arena in Prague for the Prague Playoffs 2019 Championship, attract a large number of spectators every year both to the sport hall and to the television screens. On this occasion, a complete reconstruction of the restaurant interior and the adjacent facilities for athletes was planned.

Carpet for a one-time event

The floor covering was chosen with regard to the expected relatively high load in the entire restaurant area, even if only for a limited time of this event. A contract tufted carpet with a corresponding load class was chosen, where it was also possible to choose from a large number of colors, or rather shades of gray.

One-time event carpets

The interior design of the restaurant according to the design of the Venclovský architekti studio was completely made in black and gray shades, which was dominated by a ceiling with a "star sky" created by LED light chains. Therefore, the carpet is in a gray color, which does not compete with the rest of the interior, but lets the lights and distinctive orange accessories stand out.

A total of 650 m2 of gray contract carpet was installed, which was glued to a removable substrate.

BOCA also applied cement floor screeds on sanitary facilities, where they replaced the original ceramic tiles, which were already reaching the end of their original purpose.
