The interior of the boutique itself is very narrow and was originally very fragmented and inconsistent. Thanks to the original idea of the architectural studio deyl-sestak-architekti, it was newly unified and "modeled" into an organic shape using veneered plywood panels with a relatively thin thickness.

A dark gray cement screed Microtopping from our Italian supplier Ideal Work was used for the floor.

The shade of the floor, originally black, was customized to dark gray.

The purpose was to achieve an overall impression in which the disturbing elements while drinking tea and relaxing would be suppressed as much as possible.

The architect intention

The light wooden structure should evoke the symbolism of traditional teahouses and create a pleasant Zen environment for tasting tea. A place where the customer stops for a while and enjoys the magic of the moment.

Microtopping cement floor screed was used due to its excellent utility properties:

  • is highly adhesive,
  • very durable,
  • easy to maintain due to jointlessness,
  • lets the interior stand out without attracting too much attention.

In addition, only a 3 mm thick coating was enough to renovate the floor.
