The Baroque-Renaissance Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague from the beginning of the 17th century is one of the most visited places in the Old Town of Prague. Its genius loci requires the use of only those materials that do not contrast with the purpose of the building or the specific interior design.

The investor's request was a carpet along the walls in the space behind the main altar.

However, it is not classically rectangular, but it is a round basilica with a tiled floor.

The Moko sisal-wool carpet from our natural materials, 40 meters long, best suited the plan. The edges are finished with stitching in the same shade. We taped the joints with fleece tape and treated them against fraying. The individual pieces of carpet had to be formatted on the spot, then we transported them to our workshop for sewing.

The final assembly took place again at the installation site, the entire carpet is placed on the grid.
