The design of the restaurant, made by architects from the PH5 studio, is truly original - on the ground floor, animal sculptures by Robert Palúch hang down from the snow-white ceiling. The whole space is very airy after the reconstruction, although the capacity of seats has increased to 330.

Only after you go up the spiral metal staircase to the first floor you will see an unconventional designed carpet.

Carpet with animal motifs

The chosen material had to correspond to the intended load of the restaurant area and at the same time meet the possibilities of individual printing. The choice ultimately fell on the Fletco contract carpet with a tight-loop structure, the high load class of which ensures that the floor can withstand frequent traffic even in such a demanding environment.

It was decided that the carpet should match the design of the rest of the interiors, so we embarked on a demanding process of individual design and production.

Graphics and design

The design of the carpet is made by designer Bára Zachovalová. During the graphic process, various designs and color variations were tested, where it is necessary to best align the ideas of the investor, the architect and the technological possibilities of the production.

The final appearance of the carpet (ie the pattern, its postions in the whole area and color shades) was created after a few weeks - due to the fact that it was printed on a carpet that is not white but light gray, a limited range of shades was available directly for the selected the material.

Challenging installation

The layout of large-format printed squares with atypical dimensions of 2x2 meters needed to be accurately drawn for the complicated space of the restaurant.

The installation itself was a challenge for us also for time reasons - it was necessary to meet the planned opening date, so we managed the entire installation in one day.
