The new building of the National Museum (originally serving as the headquarters of the money exchange, then the parliament and then Radio Free Europe) is connected to the historic building by an underground tunnel and a new exhibition called Exposition of the 20th Century was opened only last year.

It is in the premises of this exhibition that floor materials from our range are installed.

Wool contract carpet

The Westend Velvet Supreme carpet by the British brand Westex is made of a mixture of wool and nylon (in a ratio of 80:20 percent) and is characterized by high durability (meets load classes 23 and 32) and a large selection of colors (89 shades). The distinctive red color of Peony was chosen for this realization, which gives the area an almost luxurious look.

Golden rug for the children's corner

A durable carpet was also chosen for the children's corner, this time Lano Lounge from the SmartStrand collection, in which all products are made from a special anti-dirt pile. The Gold Leaf color has an emotionally warm effect in a colorful environment adapted to the children's visitors.

Natural rubber

In some exhibits, rubber is used for the floor - this natural material has many advantages, including durability, low maintenance and greater walking comfort than other types of smooth floors. The Kayar rubber flooring from the Italian company Artigo in a blue shade has an inconspicuous pattern of fine fibers.

Cleaning zone at the entrance

We have installed a cleaning zone in the entrance areas at the turnstiles - the polyamid gray mat in the required length of several steps (for increased cleaning function) is equipped with run-in rails.

Substrate preparing

The substrate in most spaces required larger interventions - we had to eliminate height differences, repair local cracks, level everything with leveling compound and finally sand before the floor coverings could be laid.
